About Amy

Without a good brand story, marketing and communications efforts can fall flat. That’s where Amy comes in. Amy DeLouise helps clients convey a cohesive story about their mission, vision, products and services through multi-media and video. Through consulting and workshops, she also helps organizations navigate the tools and best practices of effective branding and cause marketing, including how to effectively integrate social media into the mix.
Amy has worked for Fortune 500 companies, national nonprofits and public sector agencies. With more than 20 years experience, she is a sought-after public speaker, seminar leader, nonprofit board coach, and video content producer–and someone who can plug in to any leadership team and help get the work done. Some of Amy’s clients include the American Diabetes Association, AIPAC, Children’s National Medical Center, The Centers for Disease Control, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Prior to launching her consulting practice, Amy led an award-winning multimedia production company for 15 years, and garnered more than 40 of the top creative awards in the industry. She has been featured in stories in The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Business Journal and More magazine, and was named a Washington Area Woman-Owned Small Business Leader by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. She is a recipient of the prized Woman of Vision Leadership Award from the 1,000-member DC Chapter of Women in Film & Video. She is a graduate of Yale University, with a B.A. with Distinction in English.
But Amy doesn’t just work all day at branding and video production, does she? Nope. She’s a musician and sings with the women’s a cappella band Venus d Minor www.venusdminor.com (new CD coming out soon!). A decent violinist, she plays 5 concerts per season as the co-concert master of the NIH Philharmonia www.nihphil.org. She serves on several volunteer boards, both at the national and community levels.
